CARD-2-CARD Fund Transfer (using SBI ATM only)
CARD 2 CARD TRANSFER (i.e C2C) WORKS WELL (except newly installed DIEBOLD ATMs.)
First select TRANSFER MENU(in first screen which u see after entering ur card).
Then select card 2 card transfer menu........enter the beneficiary's DEBIT CARD No.
(available for ONLY STATE BANK GROUP CUSTOMER having VISA/MAESTRO/MASTER debit card, not for credit card) .
NOTE:16 digit card no. for MASTER/VISA CARD, 19 DIGIT FOR MAESTRO CARD.
Then again confirm it by reentering the same.
Enter the amount(it may be in point form for some ATMs. e.g Rs. 1005.75 ...do it carefully).
see the confirmation message having card no. and amount.
If all o.k.....proceed .....thus done.
Amount will be transferred to SBI TO SBI debit CARD instantly .But if the beneficiary's card is from SBI associate bank.... then ur party will get fund in next 24 working hours. Its free of charge but having some daily and per txn. limit.
Same way u can use VMT (visa money transfer) at ATM too.
Note: Its(VMT) free from atm BUT CHARGEBLE FROM Net BK.
But MASTER CARD MONEY SEND is out of service from more than last 3-4 months. It was working very good few months back.
